Andrew and Paul set to ring in success for Conduit

Outsourcing contact centre Conduit has appointed two call centre managers to help co-ordinate its approach to the implementation of a host of new contract wins in the media and pay-per-view sector. Paul Hill and Andrew Valerio will manage the Cardiff and Swansea call centres, respectively. Their main responsibilities will include overseeing operational goals, monitoring the achievement of service levels and call quality targets and the development and implementation of objective-meeting strategies.
Paul joins the company from Halifax Bank of Scotland where he gained extensive experience of managing both teams and projects in his role as operations manager, and preceding this, customer retention manager and team leader.
Andrew comes from a call centre background with experience of managing teams at IBM Outsourcing, where he worked as a service delivery manager and business operations manager. He has also managed customer service teams and outlets for NTL Home, Chartered Trust and Lloyds TSB.
Paul commented; “I am extremely excited to have joined a firm such as Conduit, who have built up an unrivalled reputation for outstanding customer service for a variety of high profile clients. As manager of the Cardiff centre I will have a large team to oversee and I look forward to helping Conduit maintain and exceed their high levels of service for their clients.”
Andrew added; “I am relishing the challenge of managing Conduit’s Swansea call centre. I really feel that my experience of managing teams in a variety of different customer service environments means that I will be prepared for any challenges it offers.”
Neil Evans, managing director of Conduit said; “With their experience and contacts in the industry both Paul and Andrew will add considerable value to our operations. These appointments display the right mix of people skills to manage extensive teams successfully.
“I look forward to working with Andrew and Paul to implement our strategy to make the business world think of Conduit when they think of outsourcing.”

Congrats on getting jobs-my one query is that basically conduit seem to provide indirect cheap call centre labour to the big companies such as sky, vodafone and setanta who wish to provide their service on the cheap-how do pay and conditions compare with in-house staff of these companies and basically when I wish to speak to sky or vodafone, I prefer to speak to an employee of that company not a subcontactor who may not have been properly vetted, and is allowed access to my financial details.
