Call Centre Headsets for as little as £30

Monaural headset A Harrow based headset company is looking to dramatically undercut the headset market in the UK.

Starting off selling headsets on eBay, Nigel Squire, owner of S W Communications (Est 1981) has started to make real inroads into the corporate headset market. They are selling their SWC103NC noise-cancelling monaural headsets for just £30 + VAT. Their binaural (two ear) model is a little more at £35 + VAT.

Nigel says they will also be launching a ‘Headset Training Buddy’ in the summer . This will have two separate locking mute buttons (one for each headset) giving listen-in or coaching facility for either headset, trainer or trainee. The price still has to be finalised but as with all their headset products it will probably be very competitive.

They are also going to bring out a USB version of their successful SWC103NC noise-cancelling monaural headset. It will be able to be plugged directly into a PC, Mac or Notebook.

Their SWC103NC noise-cancelling monaural headsets, most commonly used for call centre use, are sourced directly from headset factories in China. Despite the low price tag these headsets have a number of useful features.

A quick disconnecting point in the middle of the cord allows the user to walk away without having to remove and replace the headset top. At this point is a non-locking mute button, ideal for a quick aside with a colleague or to conceal a cough or sneeze from the distant party.
On the top part of the cord is a clothing clip and built into this is a volume control which enables the user to turn down noisy callers to a comfortable level.
The flexible boom noise-cancelling microphone can easily be shaped to be in the optimum position for individual users to cut out most background noises.
All SWC headsets are fitted with components to remove those annoying peak sounds on the line and they comply with the European Noise at Work Directive.
They have a metal headband which can be simply set to fit most head sizes.
Foam ear cushion/s are included for those who prefer them to the fitted leatherette versions.
Every headset comes with its own white drawstring bag for clean and safe storage.
Replacement leatherette ear cushions, microphone covers and bottom cords are held in stock, as are headbands for monaural models.
