The Professional Planning Forum have held their first Finalist Day to judge the new National Planning awards.

Designed as a best-practice day for the 20 individuals and 12 teams shortlisted, the rigorous process included both assessment from external judges and peer review.

These new awards showcase excellence in planning; recognising individuals and teams for the first time. They represent a step in the growth of planning as a professional community in the customer contact world.

Awards are offered for both individuals and teams. There are 4 main categories, including Team of the Year, Manager of the Year, Analyst of the Year and Rising Star.

Winners will be announced at a Gala Awards Dinner on Thursday 2nd July 2015 in Manchester. They or their managers and colleagues will also share their story at the National Planning Conference to be held later in the year on 8th October 2015.
