CC250 Maintenance

My company is currently using the CC250 contact centre software and we have been advised that the software will no longer be supported by our maintenance contract. Does anyone know what the dangers of this are and if there are any other companies that would be able to support it?

My understanding is that all the hardware, from the PBX to the servers that the software feeds, will still be supported just not the software.

Was this the Panasonic contact centre application? It never really seemed to take off.

Generally things will still work if you no longer have a maintenance contract. The problem is that if it all fails, you have no back up plan.

You may be able to get another Panasonic reseller to support it.

It's the Phillips NEC software. I'm led to believe that the biggest danger might be the cards failing and then not being able to replace them. Do you know of any resellers that may have replacement cards?

The Contact@Net 250 never seemed to take off in the UK and is now a bit long in the tooth. I don't know of any resellers and I can't find any surplus market online.

It may be time to look at a replacement - either hardware based or a hosted solution.

Jonty, thanks for the information. A final question - do you know of any companies that are still using the CC250 (Contact@Net 250)?
