Charging the cost of a connected call

Good morning.

I am looking to use a call centre to forward voice calls. The caller will tell the agent to whom they want to be connected and the agent will then connect the caller to what might be a landline, mobile phone or international number. Is there a mechanism by which, once established, the entire call - from the original caller to the final recipient - could be paid for by the instigator as part of their normal (BT or Virgin etc) bill?

The caller would be phoning in on a 0845 number, so they would need to understand/ be told that the call would be more expensive from the moment it was connected.

The three smallish call centres I contacted each suggested it couldn't be done. Is this correct or am I perhaps not asking the question in the right way? How should I specify this requirement - assuming it can be done?

Any advice, guidance or pointers you may be able to give would be much appreciated.

The only way to do this through their normal calls that I am aware of would be to do this through a Premium rate number.
