I work in a call centre and was wondering if u confirm full name address dob but not postcode as the person doesnt remember it is discussing the details a beach of dpa

I would not have thought so. Not every one can remember every detail. I would have thought that 3 forms of identity would be adequate.
It all depends upon which details you are trying to verify.

The key (at least as far as my experiance goes) is to confirm that the person your dealing with is genuine.
If they are they can confirm most details but as a rule try to alternate the details you ask for to avoid fraudsters learning your pattern and knowing that as long as they have those details they can bypass your security.
