From First Call Resolution Webinar (asked by Rory)

A bit off topic, but did anyone find forums or customer help files useful in resolution from a customer perspective?

I think Best Practice sharing is key to all of us if we want to move forward. Why re-invent the wheel if we could just ask others - and the internet is a great tool. Forum's such as this one and one we have at the Planning Forum's site is one way - however social networking sites also have a place. Linked In seems to be the most popular and I have found that posting questions to groups can generate interesting responses. However, for some reason, American based groups seem to generate more and better responses than UK based ones.

Don't underestimate the value of other best practice networking opportunities. The Professional Planning Forum has an entire calendar of conferences, seminars, site visits and networking groups which provide value to members and guests alike - meeting peers who can share their experiences with you is a great learning opportunity.
