Fusion collects for Comic Relief
Fusion Contact Centre took 3,595 calls for Comic Relief, collecting 120,600 in donations.
More than 150 staff from around the Budget Group, along with their friends and families, volunteered to man the 70 phone lines at Fusion’s contact centre in Peterborough from 6.30pm through to midnight.
This is the second time that Fusion has taken calls for Comic Relief, which runs every other year.Fusion Sales Manager Lesley Price said: “We were delighted to support Comic Relief again this year. The evening was great fun. We had big screens up to watch the television programme and made regular announcements of the amount raised, as well as giving out spot prizes for first call taken, large donations received and so on. It was great to see so many staff and their friends and families giving their time to help out on the night, and doing their bit to help raise money for such a worthwhile cause.
