How do you approach a salary increase and review if you where offered a position and were verbally promise that in 6 months time salary will be review and increased with a set figure. Then after 8 months still nothing and when I approach my manager,I was told that I need to complete training that may happen in 6 -8 months time, before increase. While still performing and setting the pace in the team. I receive emails from CEO and top management, about how great job I am doing and performing that I am the best of the team and I am training other employees of the same team, who cant even do the same job 100%, but is getting $30000 more per year, than myself. How do I present my case,to my manager, to have a good out come, as at the moment I am pretty angry about the managers not keeping there word. I want to request everything in writing as I don’t trust them after this. Any ideas?
