Ipswich call centre celebrates 10th birthday
IPPlus PLC is delighted to have reached their 10th birthday.
Thursday 5th November 1999 was the official date that Suffolk-based company de-merged from KDM International, and became COUNTYWeb.com, an internet-based company whose primary focus was developing online business directories. Now known as IPPlus, who would have thought that they would leave the internet world to run a call centre?
The ownership of a call centre led to the development of an interactive software solution and then diversifying to offer a range of intelligent telephony services.
IPPlus is split into three primary divisions; Ansaback, a 24/7, 365 days a year, business contact centre; CallScripter, a software solution for contact centres created by in-house developers; and IP3 Telecom, who offer a range of intelligent telephony services, to satisfy all modern network telecommunications business needs.
Since the company’s inception, which began with just 20 members of staff, they are now topping 200 employees.
William Catchpole, Managing Director of IPPlus, commented: “Reaching our 10th birthday is a fantastic achievement for us as an organisation. We pride ourselves on retaining our staff, guiding them up the career ladder and managing their personal development. As a result of this many of our employees have been with us from day one. It’s down to their hard work and commitment that we are growing at our current rate and massive thanks must go to them.”
