Job Description:

THE COMPANY My client, a market leader in their retail field, requires a Team Leader to establish a call centre function within their operation. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the effective operation of the business through active participation in sales development and service activities, together with collaboration on promotions, events and new product launches. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a managerial level role within a new venture. . Once appointed you will liaise with senior management to recruit future members of the team and to discuss the service provision that the function will need to make. It is therefore expected that the role holder will be able to communicate credibly at senior management level. It is likely that the successful role holder will have at least one year’s experience in a similar role, within a customer focused environment THE ROLE * Recruit, train, motivate and develop future members of the sales team * Take action on outstanding warm leads * Promote a positive attitude and buzz within the call centre operation * Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues and suppliers and focus on the achievement of long-term customer loyalty. * Provide and lead a proactive telesales service to consistently generate profitable sales for the business by effectively using a range of techniques and resources. * Ensure that company and market information is exploited in order to develop and maximise opportunities. * Contribute to the effective operation of the business through active participation in sales development and service activities and collaboration with customers, colleagues and suppliers – e.g. Promotions, events, new product launches, etc. * Initiate, manage, monitor and co-ordinate new forms of communication within the business, working to grow the business in a developing but key role.
