THE COMPANY Excellent opportunity to join an major blue chip organisation in the capacity of MI Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing the MI technical solution to enable the MI team to effectively support the direct business. THE ROLE Key accountabilities of the role: 1) Responsibility for the implementation and scope of all SQL server prioritization and development work. 2) The provision of technical coaching expertise and mentoring support to the MI business partners and MI analysts. 3) Working alongside the MI business partners and analysts to ensure the MI team deliver excellent customer service. 4) Support and maintain existing MI infrastructure. 5) Ensure the development work adheres to group standards 6) Liaise closely with IT in the migration to SQL Server. 7) Manage and deliver all technical development work, both internal to the MI team and external customer requests. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree level educated or work equivalent.
• Professional database management qualification. E.g sequel server.
• Experience of working with SQL v7 and 2000 and reporting services.
• Excellent communication skills with strong team ethics.
• Proven analytical ability.
