Following a recent restructure, the position of European Customer Support Director has been created, responsible for the delivery of outstanding customer service to their portfolio of clients within the banking industry. With around 25 direct reports across the region you will be tasked with overseeing the quality of service delivered to clients, measuring client satisfaction and ensuring that customer accounts are retained and developed. Working closely with sales teams across the region you will also contribute towards revenue growth by contributing to product and service strategies. Applicants for this position will be expected to have a strong track record of senior customer account management within a blue-chip IT / software / database provider. Previous experience of servicing the banking and financial services industry is essential and you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships at board/executive level. You will also need to have run your own P&L previously and have a strong knowledge of budgeting, revenue forecasting and cost management. Exposure to project management methodologies and the ability to speak additional European languages will be a strong advantage. Regular travel across Europe will be required so applicants must be prepared to spend 2-3 days a week away from home. In addition to a superb basic salary of circa £100k you will also receive an annual bonus of up to 20%, car, 25 days holiday, private medical cover and a generous pension scheme.
