Head of Operations - Call Centre My client is part of the NHS and was established in 2006. The area it covers has a resident population of over 4 million and handles over 340,000 emergency calls per year. Currently they have a vacancy for a Divisional Head of Emergency Operations Centre (EOC). The main purpose of the job provide management, leadership and direction for the Emergency Operations Centre(s) within the Division. Ideal candidates would have experience working in the public sector and experience of maintaining strong service levels. You must be customer focused, adaptable and experienced in managing change. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Delivery of Operational Performance Ensure that all Key Performance Indicators in relation to EOC activities are met in order to ensure optimal performance at all times, taking remedial action to improve service delivery as necessary. Be responsible and accountable for all staff maintaining the Trust standards of triage required for the safe operation of software and card based triage systems. Ensure robust audit procedures are in place Ensure a synergistic and harmonious approach to the delivery of operations by working closely with colleagues in Field Operations to ensure optimum patient care. Foster positive relationships between all members of the trust. 5. Ensure that effective Emergency Planning Procedures and training are in place Be responsible for the line management of EOC staff, providing advice and mentorship, managing performance issues effectively and constructively, ensuring that standards of best practice are understood and applied 7. To contribute to, agree and be accountable for the annual budgets as delegated by the Divisional Director of Operations, effectively managing resources and expenditure and exercising financial control in compliance with Standing Financial Instructions.
