Job Description:
My client is a rapidly developing Telemarketing Company owned by a Digital Marketing organisation who have recently won several major industry awards. Established in 1991, they now employ over 170 staff in a state-of-the-art building in West Swindon. Specialising in business to business marketing, they manage campaigns for some of the UK's best known names such as The AA, Vodafone and Vauxhall. They are seeking two team leaders to join their rapidly expanding team. This is a pivotal role within the business and your key focus will be to lead and coach a telemarketing or telesales team in a predominantly outbound B2B environment. Accordingly, experience of leading an outbound telephone sales team is critical. As team leader, your key responsibilities will be:
• To support the initial training programme for new and established staff with ongoing weekly and daily coaching programmes for all new starters and ongoing for more established staff
• To ensure that your team is fully briefed on all campaign objectives and possess the knowledge and skills to meet the targets you will set
• To conduct regular team and individual meetings with all direct reports
• To identify ongoing training and development requirements of all team members
• To conduct regular call monitoring/ evaluation
• To proactively overcome any quality issues of your team through ongoing coaching and mentoring activities and implementing supportive procedures and working practices
• To maintain a high quality of work and a professional approach to any campaign You will also be responsible for the performance management of your team and you must have experience in utilising a similar programme elsewhere. To be a successful team leader in this organisation you must be highly self-motivated and results oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills. This is a really exciting opportunity for somebody who is an experienced team leader, who fancies a move into a truly dynamic company. Alternatively, it could provide the first step into management for an experienced agent with good coaching skills and experience.
