Your main responsibilities as a Finance Analyst will involve:
• Providing high-quality financial input to support effective decision making, and helping to develop valuable, strategic financial analysis
• Providing analysis of cost bases and charge activities to drive business benefits
• Interpreting the financial performance of the business, and identifying risks and opportunities
• Producing concise monthly reports, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets that accurately reflect business activities
• Ensuring that financial controls are applied and that legislative and regulatory requirements are adhered to Your skills and qualifications as a Finance Analyst will ideally include:
• Newly qualified or part qualified accountant, or equivalent experience
• Confident managing relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business using excellent communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Comfortable challenging accepted practices and processes to drive continuous improvement What we will be looking for in you: An excellent communicator with commercial flair and an evidenced track record of success effectively analysing business information, as a Finance Analyst with Royal and SunAlliance you will able to clearly and concisely explain issues to both finance and non-finance people so that they can understand key issues quickly. Analytical and with a questioning mind, you will need to be able to deal effectively with conflict as it arises, as well as exerting influence both inside and outside of your team.
