OBJECTIVE
To generate business through the identification of customers’ mortgage and re-financing requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carry out a high volume of pre-selected outbound ‘cold’ telephone calls per day
• Project a positive, friendly and professional image
• Adhere to the script provided, collecting accurate information, and not giving advice
• Build positive rapport with customers
• Generate customer interest in the Company’s products
• Develop an understanding of the customer’s requirements
• Accurately record the customer’s requirements
• Achieve daily and monthly targets
• Establish and maintain effecting working relationships with team members
• Update and maintain knowledge and skills necessary for the role
• Attend training and meetings as required
STAFF REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Acts with honesty, integrity and probity in all business dealings.
• Ensures that processes and procedures are adhered to so that regulatory risk is minimised.
• Ensures that a job description for their role is received.
• Ensures objectives/goals are set with manager to facilitate performance appraisal.
• Monitors achievement of goals facilitating competence measurement and identifying training needs.
• Undertakes required training and maintains adequate record of training received.
• Ensures that any complaints are handled in line with the agreed defined complaints process.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
• Must have previous sales experience, preferably cold calling
• Target driven and strongly motivated by financial reward
• Projects a positive, friendly and professional image on the phone
• Can demonstrate an ability to handle and overcome objections
• Tenacious and resilient attitude with ability to overcome high levels of rejection
• Own transport essential
• Competitive team player
• Keyboard skills
