This is a superb opportunity to join a huge growing organisation within financial services.
The Role:
• To ensure that significant business change projects and programmes are delivered efficiently and the planned benefits achieved
• To work with business units, partners and support functions on significant change projects and ensure the impact of change is accurately understood and costed
• To communicate project progress in order to inform current and future plans across the business
• To obtain appropriate resource to support the successful delivery of key projects
• To ensure effective stakeholder management for each project and obtain sign off at the appropriate level
• To ensure all change is compliant and meets FSA, regulatory and legal requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Management of key projects through the full project life cycle
• There will be a requirement to manage a portfolio of projects and/or large projects of a complex nature
• To undertake work with low initial clarity, Group wide impact, high risk and multiple external dependencies
• The role will include facilitation within the business in scoping change and developing business cases, planning, controlling and delivering change
• Management of individuals assigned to work on key projects, as required
Location:
This role is based in Cambridgeshire.
Requirements:
• Experience of delivering major change initiatives in a Project Management role, preferably within the Financial Services sector
• Must be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience of the full Project Life Cycle, including the definition and scoping of projects, business case development, project planning, delivery and implementation.
• Some experience of or exposure to formal project methodologies is essential
• Must be experienced in leading project teams and previous experience of line management responsibility would be advantageous
• Must have experience of managing significant project or programme budgets in excess of £2m
