Role Profile:
•Reporting to the MI Development Manager the role is the support, maintenance and development of MI technical solutions that will effectively support the Direct Business
•To ensure that information provided is clearly understood by the customer.
•To help develop an MI infrastructure that allows speed of access to data while empowering customers to see their data.
•To obtain information from and deliver information to other business units, agreeing outputs and deliverables and identifying process enhancements to increase operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
•To help manage and deliver all technical development work, both internal to the MI team and external customer requests
•To eradicate single points of failure within the MI team through the sharing of best practice and knowledge transfer.
•To develop and maintain contacts across the business unit in order to obtain/exchange information and where appropriate identify further customer requirements.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
•Over 2 years experience in a similar role.
•Experience of working in financial services/call centre environment
•Experience with Developing Applications/solutions in SQL, Access, Excel
•Proactive nature
•Analytical skills
•Numerical skills
•Strong communication skills
•Influencing skills
Preferred:
•Degree educated in either IT an IT related subject or a numerate, statistical subject such as Maths/Economics
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies
