Our client, one of the UK’s leading outsourcers is looking for an exceptional Account Manager for their rapidly growing, successful business. This person will be responsible for managing the ongoing client relationship.
Role Profile:
The main purpose of this role is to support the interface between the client and the business whilst ensuring the profitable delivery of an excellent service.
The main responsibilities are to act as the key point of contact and escalation regarding the client (both internally and externally), to execute a client contact strategy and to deliver accurate and timely reporting with appropriate analysis and recommendations. Account Managers are responsible for ensuring that an appropriate contract is in place (and adhered to) and for ensuring that predetermined financial measures on the account are in line with client and business expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities are to act as the key point of contact and escalation regarding the client (both internally and externally), to execute a client contact strategy and to deliver accurate and timely reporting with appropriate analysis and recommendations. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that an appropriate contract is in place (and adhered to) and for ensuring that predetermined financial measures on the account are in line with client and business expectations.
The role will also entail developing a good understanding of margins across the business and identify areas for profitability improvements as well as developing the ability to negotiate costs and pricing with the client. In addition the successful candidate will be required to assist with new business pitches and manage client debt and associated recovery.
Of paramount importance will be the ability to build rapport with clients and manage effective business relationships
Key Skills / Experience Required:
•An understanding and knowledge of the business market and competitors is essential.
•An in-depth understanding of outbound / inbound solutions, with an ability to problem solve.
•A strong Team player you will be assertive and enthusiastic with a capacity for working under pressure. You will need to be highly organised with strong attention to detail, and appreciate the importance of client confidentiality.
•The skill to understand and communicate client requirements with a clear, positive and customer-focused message is important to this role.
•The skill of identifying potential up-selling opportunities.
•A good understanding of the core market area e.g. call centre operations, or response industry and how to utilise these to deliver clients expectations.
