Resource Planning Manager, London, £35-40,000 basic
Reporting to the Head of Planning, this business is part of a blue chip media operation and the Resource Planning Manager will take responsibility to assist with the entire resource planning for up to 500 FTE offshore contact centre and support team personnel.
Responsibilities will include:
Drive results from the team through proactive positive day-to-day management.
Additionally provide MIS function in data collation, validation of delivered hours
through agreed reconciliation process. Core knowledge of IEX essential.
• Ability to successfully Forecast & manage the schedules within a +/-5% margin of error 12 months in advance for a multi site off-shore Call Centre environment
• Successfully manage an outsourcer relationship with the focus on cost, results and quality
• Increase productivity through effective monitoring and subsequent correct actions liaising with the Business Planning Manager
• Ensure all personal targets and Key Performance Indicators are consistently achieved
• Demonstrate a positive, professional results driven working attitude at all times
• Promote a customer care culture and positive working environment at all times
• Working with the Reporting Administrator ensure that all reports are produced on time with 100% accuracy
• Inform Planning & Operations Manager any irregularities or discrepancies, if any, relating from issues such as IS.
• Maintain a regular dialogue with the managed service provider attending regular meetings
• Ensure a risk and issues log is maintained for assisting with any discrepancies arising from the 3rd party invoices
• Ensure accurate requirements are provided well in advance and as per commercial requirements
• Maintain a regular dialogue with the internal team to ensure that unit variations are managed as appropriate
• Ability to provide Manager cover (including team) during such absence
• Perform any other duties as requested by management from time to time
Candidates will have a proven track record in a Senior Resource Planning or will already be a Resource Planning Manager, preferably with multi site or offshore responsibilities, seeking a challenging and diverse role. Experience of IEX or a similar workforce planning tool will be required.
