Telemarketing Vendor Manager
Purpose:
To manage a number of strategic supply chains across the business to optimise value to the business and deliver cost savings.
Key Result Areas :
•Build relationships with and effectively manage a key supplier in order to facilitate continuous improvement in service delivery and cost.
•Work with the local and group procurement teams to contribute to strategic tenders and major contracts in order to maximise value and minimise cost.
•Establish and implement measures, KPIs and management reports to demonstrate supplier performance and value added: ensure effective knowledge transfer.
•Ensure that the Supplier adheres to their contractual obligations at all times, in particular any terms relating to the FSA or other such authorisation which may control their business activity from a regulatory perspective.
•Investigate and model the supply chain in order to optimise the use of business resources (across a number of departments) and deliver maximum value and satisfaction to the customer.
•Collect and analyse information on suppliers, competitors and service/product innovations in order inform strategy and negotiation.
•Manage the rapid improvement of processes to deliver services to customers in line with business strategies and values.
•Monitor operational activity and supplier spend, identifying and critiquing cost and contract variations.
•Report and provide demonstrable evidence to the Management Team of saving as and benefits delivered through the effective management of supplier base.
•Escalation of any performance issues as soon as practicable.

•Strong commercial awareness.
•Strong analytical skills.
•High level presentation, influencing & commercial negotiation skills.
