Job Description:

My client is an open minded, flexible and dynamic solution to the management of consumer debt. This dynamic 400 seat contact centre within the Finance sector is one of the market leaders in purchasing underperforming debt from blue-chip organisations.

As a member of there management team, you will be responsible for the management and coaching of a target driven sales focused team, ensuring operational excellence, productivity and cost-effective management within your designated team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To manage, coach, support, develop and lead a dynamic team of 11 sales / collections advisors ensuring that all targets are met in a fast paced target driven environment
  • To carry out all performance management issues including 121’s, disciplinaries including sickness and absence and carry out monthly appraisals
  • Proactively quality monitors their team’s performance daily against key criteria / standards
  • Responsible for setting and achieving team goals and targets
  • To identify underperformance and implement action plans
  • Resolve any issues, including escalations and take full ownership of them
  • To extract, analyse and interpret statistical data and track KPI’s
  • Ensuring a 5* star customer service is carried out at all times

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have experience of managing a strong sales team in a target driven environment either in an Inbound or Outbound environment
  • Previous experience of working in debt management or a collections environment would be an advantage for this position
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, resilient, hands-on manager who can manage people
  • Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills required along with the ability to work under pressure and get the results required
  • Must be a ‘champion’ in leading a team in a similar environment with a proven results record

REMUNERATION AND PACKAGE DETAILS

  • A basic salary c£20k Basic
  • 6 month increase to £22k (dependent of performance)
  • Monthly bonus of £350 – £1000 plus per month, dependant on team performance
