This is a fantastic opportunity to join Furniture@Work, due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to oversee our Finance Department.
You will be reporting to the Managing Director and look after all bookkeeping such as sales ledger, purchases ledger, bank reconciliation and month/year end and be responsibility for the Purchase Ledger Manager, Credit Control Manager and Sales Ledger Manager.
Your main responsibilities will be:-
Ø Maintain the organisation’s business plan and cash flow
Ø Be responsible for financial reporting, processes and procedures
Ø Manage internal audits
Ø Compile company and departmental budgets and forecasting reports
Ø Implement systems, processes and procedures, including the introduction of KPI’s and meaningful management information.
Ø Attend and contribute to Department Head/Operations meetings
Ø Deputise for the Head of HR in their absence
Ø Project work as assigned by the Managing Director
The ideal candidate will have:-
Ø Excellent organizational skills and be able to quickly develop effective working relationships
Ø 3 to 5 Years man management experience of a team of 10 or more
Ø Monthly management accounts, Vat returns, payroll and year end audit experience
Ø Excellent excel/spreadsheet modeling skills
Proven bookkeeping experience and knowledge of accounting software is required. Excellent computer and interpersonal skills are essential.
Salary and Benefits:-
Ø Salary of up to £30,000 (Dependant on Experience)
Ø 25 Days Holidays, plus 8 Public Holidays
