The Group Operations Analyst will look to deliver and maintain an operational factbase for the SBUs and drive improvement across all core KPIs through process, technology and capacity management:-
Setting group standards for KPI/Metrics + Capacity planning
Coaching and developing Operational Analysts within the SBUs
Delivering better business performance (cost and revenue) through metrics and operational analytics.
Producing a fact base of operational performance across the group.
Working with Strategy and Planning to deliver Group MTP/STP taking accountability for efficiency and effectiveness targets.
To provide analytical support and project implementation skills to enable the development of the operational infrastructure. This is specifically done by building new or improving existing process and systems.
This in turn will improve customer service, quality, EV generation and cost base or alternatively mitigate our compliance risks.
As well as delivering process and infrastructure improvements the person is expected to be able to proactively identify areas of opportunity for further development.
In addition the person should be able to coach others in the use of analytical and problem solving techniques.
This role will set the standards across the group and assist each SBU in creating the metrics and data needed to produce local reporting and planning requirements.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:
Project management delivery and specifically multiple projects
Systems thinking and analytical techniques
Operational knowledge and experience, effective communication, presentation skills
Strong time management and personal organization
Written communication and report writing
Forecasting, planning and capacity modelling ability needed
