Job Description
Job Title: New Business Executive- Appointment Setting
Location: Wokingham
Duration: Temp to Perm
Position Reports to: Sales & Business Development Manager
The position of New Business Executive is key to the ongoing growth of maia consulting. The role is fundamental to the sales process and will be ideal for any candidates looking to develop existing sales skills in a varied and challenging environment. Previous appointment setting and cold calling experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Appointment setting and cold calling to generate new business opportunities for the field members of the field sales team
• Spend a significant amount of time on the telephone to identify business opportunities and sales leads
• Assist with the achievement of challenging new business acquisition targets for an outsourced contact centre and customer management consultancy and training provider.
• To achieve own personal sales target as set by the Sales & Business Development Manager
• Proactively contact senior individuals within organisations to initiate business relationships with key contacts in each prospect organisation
• Establish customer needs and effectively promoting a portfolio of outsourced services including outsourced contact centre services, customer research projects, consultancy, training, and bundled products.
• Take responsibility for own sales targets
• Promote Business Consultancy & Training, Quality Monitoring & Mystery Shopping and Customer Management Centre services.
• Identify decision makers and arrange pre and post telephone contact mailings or emails.
• Accurate administration of sales activity including updating and maintaining the sales database with comprehensive contact history.
• Visits to organisations with an interest in maia’s Customer Management services will be necessary (alongside the pitch team) to develop an understanding of the full maia sales process.
• Provide regular feedback from ongoing sales activity to assist with refining new product and service offerings.
• Send out e-mails, letters, brochures etc. to prospects as required.
