Job Title: Business Operations Manager - Billing Manager – Payments Specialist
Job Location: Midlands
Salary £40,000 - £50,000 basic, bonus.
The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for the management, leadership, training and development within the business operations function. The primary goal will be to manage, support and innovate procedures and process related to customer billing and product servicing activities related to customer billing and product servicing activities.
The successful candidate will require a thorough knowledge of payment processing, credit data processing, scheduled program processing and vendor interactions and be able assume responsibility for the planning, organising, monitoring and controlling these operation area processes and procedures.
Duties will include:
Manage and provide leadership to Business Operations staff to support the business product lines and customer bases.
Oversee all activities relating to customer billing and program processing including:
• Ensuring accurate and timely processing through program monitoring, auditing and reconciling.
• Design Metrics and analytical methods to identify and solve business problems relating to billing and or program processing activities.
• Report and track performance of programs to senior management
• Manage internal and external SLA’s
• Clearly define and document business process.
• Oversee processes and ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines, policies and regulations.
Establish best practice related to operational processes.
Analyse complex issues, initiatives and technologies to ensure flawless execution, reduction in costs and or processing efficiencies across all area processes
Exhibit familiarity with the design and monitoring of solid operating controls, policies and procedures.
Recruit, select, onboard, train and develop operations personnel to provide back up support as needed.
Manage daily relationships with vendors.
Work with other members of the management team and legal compliance and internal departments on projects and project initiatives.
Engage in problem solving and provide suggested solutions.
Act as a champion for Business Operations led initiatives and directives – indirectly managing cross functional teams to reach business objectives.
