Job Purpose:
The role holder will be a key member of the Sales & Service Performance Management team, and will be responsible for call volume forecasting and operational impact analysis within the operational areas across Sales and Service.
In terms of forecasting this will involve the production of accurate long, medium and short term forecasting relating to inbound and outbound call volumes together with other measurable work.. The role holder will need to collect & undertake detailed analysis of the key drivers of Business volumes and their data source both current & planned, in order to design, manage and construct accurate forecasting models.
The role holder will be required to understand and model the impact of various commercial activities. This will require close working relations to be developed across various teams within the Business, including Marketing, Commercial implementation and the operational areas.
Ultimately the role holder will be required to build up the aggregate demand picture for various areas across Sales and Service and ensure operational buy-in to the plans.
Recognising the dependencies of other teams across the business it is important that the role holder maintains an open approach, contributing to debate and supporting colleagues as required. Due to the scope of the role the successful apliocant will be required to undertake an element of travel between the various operational Sites.
Technical skilles/ Competencies:
Strong analytical ability. Ability to handle complex data from a variety of sources.
Communication and questioning skills.
Relationship Management. Excellent PC skills.Influencing and negotiating.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage workloads.
Knowledge and Expertise:
Proven background in forecasting within a call centre environment ( minimum 2 years ).
Demonstrate knowledge of the complexities of forecasting within a multi-skill, multi channel environment.
Organisational awareness.
Experience and developed skills in analysing and presenting complex data and information to non-technical managers and staff at senior levels.
