We are searching for a highly motivated and influential Team Leader to work in the CSC as part of the enquiries department of a well known financial services contact centre. This is an exciting opportunity with a great deal of potential for candidates looking for career progression and personal development
The successful candidates should be committed to their team achieving at the highest level through effective management, investing in coaching and acting as a mentor to their staff.
Responsibilities:
•To recruit lead and develop a team of agents.
•To ensure that people are both skilled and motivated to deliver outstanding performance
•Managing costs with agreed budgets
•Planning and managing work loads, creating improvements in current methods and being fully responsible for all aspects of team performance.
•Set individual targets; address any issues escalated to management and deal with training, recruitment and disciplinary matters.
•Work closely with the senior management team and colleagues across all business units to ensure key objectives are understood and working relationships maximised
•Manage the induction process ensuring new starter settles into role quickly by providing them with a development plan and managing that plan through to completion
Skills:
•A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role
•Demonstrable ability to manage, develop and lead a team in a fast paced call centre
•Excellent Communication and Leadership skills
•Influence Senior/Executive Managers regarding necessary changes to procedures
•Adopt a proactive management style, to enable team to achieve planned performance.
•Evidence of quality appraisal documentation and process.
•Work with team to create achievable development and progression plans
•Effectively carry out HR procedures e.g. recruitment, appraisal, absence management and disciplinary
