Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY

The position of a Telesales Campaign Manager is responsible for the development, design and implementation of customer acquisition, up-sell and retention programmes through outbound and inbound telesales aimed at supporting the direct sales force in their efforts to retain and grow customers.

THE ROLE
• Implementation and management of multiple concurrent outbound and inbound telesales programmes using multiple outsourced agencies.
• Management of outsourced resource requirements, campaign plans and inbound call volumes with associated budget management and planning.
• Management of the prospect database, which includes the acquisition of purchased data through external agencies or have been gathered through lead generation initiatives projects within all DSM channels, to ensure a ‘pipeline of opportunities’.
• Development of a contact and conversion implementation plan.
• Development and ongoing refinements of call scripts.
• Development and implementation of training programmes for telesales, which includes initial training and ongoing training.
• Recommendation, definition and implementation of campaign offerings.
• Production of accurate and detail campaign creative briefs for all direct marketing and outbound calling campaigns, to include campaign objectives (KPI’s/ROI etc) commercial guidelines, positioning of the offer, data source, data collation requirements, agent scripts and product priorities.
• Production of a monthly campaign performance review for key/senior stakeholders, which details clear ROI for individual campaigns and performance against KPI’s for the previous and current months’ activity. It must also include the planned campaigns and performance / resource requirements for future periods.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver key channel alignment initiatives which improve customer experience and increase sales performance
• Liaison with appropriate stakeholders to ensure fulfillment of customer packs.
• Management of campaign budget
• Establishment and maintenance of appropriate campaign controls and metrics.
• Maintenance of a macro view of all campaigns touching customers to ensure that competing channels or campaigns do not hit customers and that the same customers are not targeted too frequently.
• Maximisation of existing customer base using customer segmentation and product segmentation to appropriately target the right customers, at the right time with the right product offering.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated track record in a similar role is essential.
• Proven ability to deliver.
• Experience of managing large budgets to deliver a commercial return on investment.
• Experience in telesales campaign management, with emphasis of technical / analytical skills required to drive campaigns.
• Experience in telesales or contact centre vendor management
• Experience of call centre operations.
