Company / Role Overview:
With financial Services experience a benefit, we require a Project Manager to coordinate and ensure smooth delivery of projects across a number of departments. Within a fast paced primarily Contact /call Centre environment for an award winning Financial Services company, this is a new role responsible for combing, coordinating, delegating and defining projects over IT, Customer Operations and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
•Be the central point of management for Project deliverables across the business
•Through proper documentation endure the varying departments are working towards the same business aims.
•Start initially with a large IT project but to move over to all areas of the project management for the operation.
•Facilitate the generation and sign off of business requirements of all projects
•Virtual team management; managing project team members to maximise their contribution.
•Lead project specific contract negotiations including cost and SLA’s.
•Manage project handover according to company policies
•Analyse process improvements and drive integration into project scope.
Key Skills / Experience required:
•Broad spectrum of technological and business project management experience.
•General FSA compliance knowledge
•Proven track record leading major projects across a range of technologies and timescales.
•Supplier Management and strong negotiation skills.
•Excellent presentation and communication skills, experience at a senior level.
•Track record of effective stakeholder management
•Defining and managing project budgets
•Excellent Delegating, influencing and coordinating skills.
Desirable
•Relevant Business Experience, Financial Services experience will be an Advantage
•Broad understanding of project methodologies
•Line management experience
•Prince 2 / 6 Sigma accreditation or similar.
