THE COMPANY
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join this leading company. Our client is a well known company with in the financial services sector; as a result of this they have an immediate need to hire a well versed Commercial Analyst.
To be considered for this position candidates will have clear experience with SAS, good business acumen and experience within a financial services company.
THE ROLE
? 1. Data mining of source systems to identify issues/opportunities.
? 2. Developing business cases to support change, obtaining budget/resources and analysing results to ensure business benefits are delivered
? 3. Wining “buy-in” & commitment across the business for opportunities to improve data quality as well as its use.
? 4. Strategy inputting into medium and short term planning process.
? 5. Maintaining up to date strategy for the data strategy function.
? 6. Managing the data strategy cost within budget.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
? Must have exceptional skills in the use of statistical packages such as SAS
? A proven ability of getting to the root of a problem and presenting workable solutions.
? Ability to analyse complex processes and provide the business with alternative solutions that takes it forward
? Ability to communicate effectively with a technical team as well as translate and interpret technical jargon and explain the function to other “non-technical” areas.
REMUNERATION AND PACKAGE DETAILS
£41,200 - £48,000 (dependant on experience) plus Excellent benefits and a generous car allowance
