THE COMPANY

We are looking to recruit a Sales Team Manager to join one of our prestigeous clients who are going through a successful period of growth. They are looking for Senior Team Managers to join them during this positive time of growth. You will need to possess a keen passion for exceeding targets and have a hunger for success.

Reporting to the Call Centre Manager, the Sales Team Manager will support the Operation in managing, leading and developing the Retention Advisor population. They will have responsibility for day-to-day leadership and management of a specific team of Advisors with a clear focus on ensuring a highly motivated team that consistently meets and exceeds targets and delivers exceptional customer service

To be considered for this position the individual must have possess the ability to motivate and enthuse a team to achieve targets and maximise team performance.

THE ROLE

Key Accountabilities of the role include; –

  • To coach, mentor and develop team of 15 to deliver quality sales, achieve targets, and meet agreed productivity in a B2C environment
  • The centre will house Inbound & Outbound new business sales, ensuring that all customers have a great experience when speaking to the team and that in times of high call volume you lead by example by dealing with customer enquiries
  • To ensure consistent delivery of a simple, reliable and personal customer experience through direct management
  • Constantly challenging and questioning the way work is completed and the variation associated with the customer demand
  • Responsible for continuous personal development, undertaking relevant training as and when appropriate, for self and team
  • Ensure that all customers have a great experience when speaking to your team and that in times of high call volume you lead by example by dealing with customer enquiries
  • To communicate effectively at all levels ensuring excellent working relationships are developed and maintained in the Contact Centre
  • You will continuously strives to proactively enhance all aspects of the sales teams performance
  • Participate and contribute to the wider management of Contact Centre initiatives such as; team meetings, communication initiatives and reward and recognition programmes

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong proven ability to manage a high performing sales team within a Contact Centre environment
  • Must currently be working at Team Leader level within a strong sales environment
  • Possess a proven track record in Sales and have the drive and ambition to succeed
  • A desire to help others and develop them through coaching
  • Experience of successfully coaching/motivating and performance management of a team to deliver results
  • Experienced in Up & Cross Selling / Retentions / Sales Through Service / Conversion Targets
  • Strong understanding of exceptional customer service and consumer engagement techniques and ability to demonstrate application of knowledge
  • Exceptional coaching skills and able to develop individual’s performance
  • Problem solver who remains flexible in an ever-changing environment. Drive a solution orientated ‘can-do’ approach
  • Must be a “Hands-on” manager who works closely with their team
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
  • £18k – £28k Basic Salary Per Annum
