Customer Complaints Manager
TV Licensing Management Team London,
£28k plus an attractive bonus
The TV Licensing Management Team (TVLMT) is responsible for generating in excess of £3.4 billion from the licence fee. This represents a significant portion of the BBC’s annual income, and as such, the team’s role is vital to supporting the continuing programme output of the organisation.
As the key interface between the BBC and its contractual partners (who between them cover collection, administration and enforcement of the fee), your role will involve managing and responding to customer complaints that have been escalated from our partners to the BBC. And, working closely with the TV licensing partners, you’ll help establish the root causes for complaints as well as track initiatives to help reduce overall complaint levels. You’ll also help research and draft responses to freedom of information requests
To do this, you’ll need some experience of dealing with challenging customers, both on the telephone and in written correspondence. A confident and resilient approach coupled with the ability to challenge and question will be equally important. You’ll also need to be good at putting together sound and well-reasoned arguments to influence and persuade others.
Applications to be received by 30 September.
