Job Description:

Your role will be to plan and deliver product knowledge and sales skills development to Telesales Centre staff, to continually improve individual and team capability and contribute to improved business performance.

THE ROLE

. Plan, deliver and evaluate training & development solutions to meet individual and business requirements

• Design, implement, deliver and monitor a training and development plan so that agreed objectives are met, including the delivery of sales and product inductions and one-to-one coaching

• Monitor and evaluate training provision, against agreed standards and defined business measures, to ensure optimum use of training effort and resources

• Working with a team of up to 60 Telesales staff and the Telesales Management Team reporting to the Head of Telesales

• Contribute to the development of the Centre’s training plan, and support the identification of training needs and success measures, to ensure best use of training effort and resources

• Collate and record all in-house training and coaching so that effective records of the whole teams Training Needs, objectives and progress are recorded and acted upon.

• Establish effective relationships with the site Contact Centre management team to promote training team’s role and impact within the business

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong experience of delivering resource and development strategies and evidence of turning strategy into reality
  • Knowledge of Training Delivery modes and methods, how people learn, including styles and channels
  • Sound Technical knowledge of sales processes, systems and procedures, typically based on software industry experience
  • Ability to demonstrate their own implementation and roll out of sales models with demonstrable outcomes
  • Previous experience of coaching / training in a multi site outbound telesales operation would be highly advantageous
  • Good understanding of the principles and methods of designing and delivering training schemes – including coaching, mentoring & performance consulting, recruitment & selection
