Customer Operations - Project Delivery Manager
The Delivery Manager role will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of the Customer Operations elements of large-scale business-led projects. This will be executed by working with a virtual team from across the different workstreams within Customer Operations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the successful implementation of all assigned projects following agreed project management methodology, to the satisfaction of identified stakeholders and in accordance with agreed timescales & standards.
Assess project costing and viability in conjunction with Finance and Business Planning to fully scope projects and maximise return on investment opportunities.
Translate an overall project theme into a comprehensive project plan projecting operational impacts using agreed project management methodology to ensure successful delivery and handover in to business-as-usual (BAU).
Initiate and facilitate regular project team meetings as agreed with project stakeholders, to co-ordinate the project efficiently and effectively.
Keep all stakeholders involved and informed through implementing effective communications plans and change management strategy.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with project sponsors and other key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure full commitment and support for the success of the project.
Display full ownership of assigned projects managing any associated risks, taking responsibility to drive to successful completion.
Maximise the impact of projects by providing timely and accurate reporting and feedback of results both during and after project implementation, escalating issues where necessary.
Manage project closure and handover to operations or other agreed BAU contacts, through the building of successful handover criteria during the project planning stage with key stakeholders.
Continually look for ways to improve work processes and challenge established approaches to work and projects in line with best practice.
Undertake duties of a general nature or additional tasks as may be requested by Management.
Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent understanding and experience of contact centres and their associated systems.
The ability to bring together teams of people from different areas of the business to successfully deliver change.
Previous project management experience.
Project Management qualification such as Prince 2.
