Our client, an instantly recognisable organisation is seeking to recruit a Demand Manager to join their growing team based in the North West.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Resource & Capacity Management you will be responsible for:
· Challenge of managing Strategic Operating Plan for shared services
· Owns the Demand Management process across the business – acting as a gateway to capacity within Shared Services
· Forecasts Demand which culminates in forecasted customer contact (inbound & outbound) or customer work items within processing, or GI Claims customer demand activity:
- volume and profile of demand
- across a day, month, and year periods
· Future focused, developing capability in planning, physical capacity management, and forecasting within Shared Services
· Requires a network of effective inputs across the business and internal relationships
· Requires relationships across Operational Transformation and other areas including strategic planning, sales and marketing.
· Challenge of representing and understanding the customer contact and processing drivers across inbound, outbound, processing, sales and claims
Knowledge and Experience
· Excellent planning skills
· Highly numerate
· Forward thinking
· Excellent influencing skills
· Highly analytical in thinking
· Leadership – of a small team and of cross functional initiatives
· Excellent relationship building skills and concerns for impact on others and willingness to challenge other functions and colleagues
· Personal drive and tenacity
