Company / Role Overview:
An experienced Business Analyst is required for a fixed term contract (to Sept 09) based in the West Midlands, to carry out process re-engineering and to help identify business problems and propose solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
•You will lead and support the facilitation of business workshops, with the possible coordination of other functional groups.
•You will also be expected to liaise with the other departments across the organisation, and the user community, to ensure that a complete analysis is carried out.
•You will extract departmental requirements for alterations to the Target Debt Management system and related interfaces.
•Undertake and contribute to diagnostic review and data gathering from relevant business areas, liaising with appropriate stakeholders to present an as-is view of performance highlighting potential areas of risk and improvement.
•Definition, development and validation of process improvements to agreed standards liaising with appropriate business area.
•Impact assessment of moving from the current state to the future state including operational business, systems and customer impact.
•To own the construction of any relevant operational procedures, requirements documentation, ensuring consistency with the business requirements documentation.
•Support and assist the operational areas in the implementation and embedding of changes to business processes, practices and associated system functionality.
Key Skills / Experience required:
•You will be proficient in problem solving skills and will need to show past experience in working in a process driven environment.
•You will have experience of business process modelling, requirements gathering and analysis, facilitating workshops and will have delivered within a formal projects management environment.
•Experience in the area of debt collection and recovery would be advantageous but not essential.
•Excellent communication, motivation and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
•Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with particular respect to MS Excel and MS Visio (or similar package) are also essential.
•You should also be flexible, proactive and team-motivated, as well as being able to work on your own initiative, as you will be required to undertake your daily tasks with minimal supervision.
