Aspect Software announces collaboration with ComSys

Aspect Software has announced its collaboration with ComSys, who have been their partner for 15 years specialising in contact centre solutions.

The joint solution will enable contact centres using Aspect Unified IP to enhance their core CRM capabilities in order to deliver informed, omni-channel interactions and improved customer experiences.

“Aspect CRM Connectors for Unified IP help us fulfil our mission of making it easy for our customers to engage with their customers,” said John Amein, Vice President of Product Management at Aspect. “We are pleased to partner with ComSys who have worked with us on a package that is field-proven and ready to connect Unified IP to all popular CRM solutions.”


Magnetic North appoints Business Development Manager

Magnetic North has announced the appointment of Morgan Hallahan as Business Development Manager.

He has held a number of business development and acquisition roles across multiple vertical markets, successfully delivering a number of complex, high profile contact centre deployments.

“This is a great opportunity to deliver exactly what customers are looking for,” said Morgan.

“We are delighted that Morgan is joining the Magnetic North team,” said Mike Donohue, Sales Director at Magnetic North. “Revenues from our cloud communications solutions have grown by 40% over the last year, reflecting a sharp increase in demand for cloud services, and we continue to grow with the market.”


Journeycall signs the lease for new premises

Journeycall has signed the lease for new premises in Arbroath, a move which will allow the company to expand their operations in Scotland.

Currently operating from two bases, the company will be moving its employees onto one site in Arbroath, with the creation of a further 100 full-time jobs anticipated over the next 12 months.

“This is an exciting new chapter for Journeycall in Scotland,” said David Burdett, Chief Operating Officer of ESP Group (Journeycall’s parent company). “We have a fantastic team here which we can now bring together on one site in a move that not only helps us consolidate our presence in Angus but gives us the ability to continue to develop new services with the confidence that we can cater for that expansion.”


Capita acquires tricontes

Capita has acquired tricontes, a specialist customer management company based in Germany.

The acquisition will enhance Capita’s existing presence in customer management and contact centre expertise in the UK and further afield.

It will also further enable the company to support its clients’ needs in Europe, many of whom have German or European heritage.

“The acquisition of tricontes will allow Capita to draw on a highly skilled, experienced pool of talent, adding additional capability to its customer management services,” said Andy Parker, Chief Executive at Capita.


Transversal appoints a new Chief Executive Officer

Transversal has announced the appointment of Heather Richards as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

She will take over the day-to-day running of Transversal and will be spearheading the continuing expansion into the US.

“I’m pleased to be taking on this new role and having the opportunity to build on our successes,” said Heather. “The future for the business is exciting, with the expansion into the US and growing partner network.”

Further changes in management include Marc Quantrill, VP Global Sales and Alliances, joining the Transversal Board of Directors.
