Azzurri appoints Head of Business Development

Azzurri Communications has appointed Antony Vigar to the role of Head of Business Development. He re-joins Azzurri following a number of years at Vodafone, and was appointed to support growth in both the company’s core enterprise communications customer base and its upcoming ICON cloud and managed services.

“I am delighted to be returning to Azzurri at this very exciting time as the company prepares to launch its cloud and managed services offerings later this year,” said Antony Vigar. “Returning to Azzurri was a very easy decision for me, especially the chance to resume working with my former colleagues. Genesys appoints Neil Titcomb as UK and Ireland Cloud Sales Director

Genesys has appointed Neil Titcomb as Sales Director for Cloud across the UK and Ireland. He will be responsible for driving sales of the full range of cloud-based contact centre applications within the Genesys Customer Experience Platforms across the UK and Ireland.

“Genesys has the best customer-experience-focused contact centre technology in the market today and I am delighted to be joining the team here in the UK,” said Neil Titcomb. “I am extremely passionate about creating great experiences for our customers’ customers, and my goal is to drive revenue through a focused driven team into the growing UK hosted contact centre market.”


Vizolution appoints Non-Executive Chairman

Vizolution has appointed Scanes Bentley as Non-Executive Chairman.

“I have been following the growth of Vizolution for some time now and I’m hugely impressed at the inroads they have made with 3 of the top 5 UK lenders and 2 of the top 5 UK insurers already using vScreen,” said Scanes Bentley. “I’m very much looking forward to working with Bill and the team.”

Aspect announces UK channel partner agreement

Aspect Software has announced a UK channel partnership agreement with Australian firm Call Design, Aspect’s largest global partner for workforce optimisation. Call Design’s extensive expertise in workforce and back-office optimisation will extend and enhance Aspect’s ability to deliver improved returns for customers in the UK.

“Aspect continues to add leading industry partners and competencies to our reseller community, which improves the overall support and service we can offer our customers,” said Steve Boakes, Manager, Channels & Partners, Northern Europe at Aspect. “Call Design’s expertise, along with its new local office in London makes it an ideal partner for us.”


Journeycall announces senior appointments

Journeycall has announced three senior appointments, as the company strengthens its existing experience of smart technology customer services to support parent group, ESP’s emerging ‘smart cities’ programme.

Dr Steve Cassidy joins ESP as Head of Future Mobility and will work closely with Sheryll Ricketts as Group Director of Strategy, while Janet Taylor takes up the role of Group Sales Director.

“Having worked with ESP Group in a consultancy capacity since 2001, I jumped at the chance to take on this visionary role with the company,” said Dr. Steve Cassidy. “My experience is in designing new mobility services which aim to help make cities work better.”


Cirrus appoints Non-Executive Directors

Cirrus Response has appointed Nigel Walsh and Royston Hoggarth as Non-Executive Directors. Royston Hoggarth is a highly experienced Information Technologist, who has worked in Financial Services, Telecoms, Software and Services, while Nigel Walsh is a Financial Services business management specialist.

“We’re delighted to be working with Nigel and Royston, whose collective experience is already paying dividends for us,” said Jason Roos, CEO at Cirrus.


Magnetic North strengthens sales team

Magnetic North has appointed Mike Donohue as Sales Director. He will play a key role in the 2014 growth strategy, lead the existing sales team and make several more key appointments in this area.

“I’m hugely excited to be appointed the new Sales Director,” said Mike Donohue. “Magnetic North is an extremely innovative and creative company with a strong pedigree within the contact centre industry and a great team already in place.”


Jabra invests in business growth initiatives

Jabra has announced the promotion of Alan Quinlan to Director of Corporate Sales, and Stuart Nicoll to Global Accounts Manager. In addition, Lee Harper has joined the Jabra team to focus on business growth within the contact centre.

“This year we will continue our investment in the High Touch Sales Team and will work closer with our channel and Strategic Alliance partners, to continue our acquisition of new accounts and drive up our market-share,” said Nigel Dunn, Managing Director at Jabra Business Solutions UK & Ireland.


Rostrvm Solutions appoints Operations and Service Manager

Mike Boyle has joined Rostrvm Solutions as Operations and Service Manager, and now oversees all aspects of rostrvm service delivery at the project, customer support and customer relationship levels.

“My most important role is to get it right for each individual customer, so I’m delighted to be at Rostrvm, with its technical knowledge and expertise,” said Mike Boyle. “Customer satisfaction is about honing the technology to meet the customers’ needs – and not the other way around; it’s about providing decent support.”

NewVoiceMedia appoints VP Sales NA West

NewVoiceMedia has appointed E.J. Tague as Vice President Sales, North America Western Region. He will continue to expand the sales organisation throughout North America West, accelerating growth through new customer acquisition and maintaining successful and trusted partnerships with existing customers.

Interactive Intelligence streamlines global software and service delivery

Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. has created three C-level positions to further streamline its operations for improved global software and service delivery. All three positions are being filled by current members of the company’s leadership team.

As part of these changes, former vice president of sales operations, Tom Fisher, is now chief services officer. The company’s former vice president of North American sales, Paul Weber, is now chief business officer. In addition, Gary Blough, formerly the company’s executive vice president of worldwide sales, is now chief international officer.

“As we grow globally, it’s increasingly important that we stay well-coordinated and communicate quickly and effectively,” said Dr. Donald E. Brown, CEO at Interactive Intelligence. “The creation of these three key roles will help us do that by consolidating functions across geographies.”
