Movers and Shakers – May 2013

This month we bring you news of new appointments at CCA, NewVoiceMedia, Webhelp TSC, Novacroft and new offices for Kelly Services.

CCA appoints Director of Communications

CCA have announced the appointment of Valerie Darroch to the new role of Director of Communications, reporting to Chief Executive Anne Marie Forsyth.

Valerie has a long-standing relationship with CCA, having provided strategic communications advice and support on a consultancy basis since 2007. In her new role she will be responsible for promoting CCA’s activities, including its research programme, as well as engaging with stakeholders on critical customer contact and customer service issues.

NewVoiceMedia strengthens team with three new apprentices…

Jamie Feltham, Lee Herbert and Brandon Read were offered IT operations roles at the company’s headquarters in Hampshire, following completion of a nine-month advanced apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professionals with Pearson’s Academy.

Brandon Read comments,“Learning in both a practical and classroom environment has been such great experience and I’m pleased to be joining NewVoiceMedia and starting my career in the industry”.

… and continues European expansion

They have also appointed Hanne Refslund as Director, Northern Europe and France.

Hanne joins from sf.com, where she served as Strategic Account Manager specialising in its social customer service application Service Cloud.

Hanne says, “I’m looking forward to leading our business development and helping to expand the company’s presence in the region”.

Webhelp TSC puts service options at the heart of growth strategy

Dave Pattman has recently joined the Webhelp TSC’s team as Solutions Director.

David Turner, CEO of Webhelp TSC, said: “Dave brings a wealth of experience to the growing team at Webhelp TSC. As a business, we are constantly looking to develop the highest levels of customer experience and key to this will be Dave’s strong background in multichannel customer experience, strategic insight and planning.”

Dave said: “I’m passionate about providing customers with the greatest possible levels of service and I know Webhelp TSC shares this view.”

Change at Novacroft

Novacroft is pleased to announce that Novacroft’s founder and Managing Director, Debra Charles, has moved to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), whilst David Messiter has become Novacroft’s Managing Director.

David first joined Novacroft in February 2011 as Commercial Operations Manager, in line with continued business growth. David made a significant contribution to Novacroft in a relatively short period of time, and was soon promoted to Commercial Operations Director, in which role he has played a large part in driving forward operations and overall growth.

Kelly Services expands to new premises in Telford

At a ceremony attended by Telford’s Deputy Mayor, Councillor Murray, Kelly Services officially opened a new operations centre in Stafford Park, Telford, Shropshire.

Speaking at the event, Councillor Murray said: “I am delighted that Kelly Services have chosen to expand their premises in Telford and am privileged to be present at the opening of the new operations centre. This is excellent news for the borough and I wish them continued success in the future.”
