mplsystems appoint new Business Development Manager

Tony joins mplsystems as Business Development Manager and will be responsible for developing new business across the UK North & Scotland, as well as looking after existing key accounts within the organisation.

“I am delighted to welcome Tony to the growing business development team at mplsystems,” said Jon Meredith, Sales Director at mplsystems. “With his knowledge and experience within the industry, Tony will become a key member of the team and will be taking on some key existing accounts as well as being tasked with ambitious sales targets for new business.”


Plantronics takes key strategic partners for a spin

Plantronics has met with key strategic partners, system integrators and carriers at Goodwood Motor Circuit to discuss new product launches and updates.

Attendees also got to enjoy the thrill of racing cars around Goodwood’s historic circuit.

…And grow their Strategy Partner Team

Plantronics has announced the addition of Adam Bootle to the Strategy Partner team in the position of Partner Account Manager.

Adam was at Plantronics for over five years previously, holding the role of Corporate Sales Manager (Midlands) before taking up in his current role. In his new role, Adam will be responsible for helping to drive channel sales.

“I’m looking forward to taking on this new challenge and helping Plantronics during a period of growth,” said Adam. “I hope to utilise my vast background in sales to support our channel partners and better help them to understand the needs and demands of the end-user – it’s all about driving sales through education.”


Rostrvm Solutions welcomes new member to Support Team

Rostrvm Solutions has welcomed Matt Ryan to its Support Team.

Matt has a solid background in the contact centre arena and the technologies that underpin it.

“My role at Rostrvm is to ensure customers can operate more smoothly and deal with any technical issues promptly that might arise,” said Matt. “My experience helps me to identify the source of the problem quickly – whether it be network, gateways… one of the most common but resolvable challenges is the contact centre’s underlying infrastructure, which can impact the service delivery greatly.”


Sabio gains contract with Greater Manchester Police

Sabio has won a contract to deliver support for Greater Manchester Police’s advanced workforce management (WFM) solution.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is one of the largest forces in the UK and uses an Impact 360 WFM solution (from Verint, deployed by Sabio) to help meet SLAs and KPIs. The Force currently handles around two million calls and 900,000 incidents annually.

“Sabio has been a Verint partner since 2000, so we’re able to support Greater Manchester Police with a particularly high level of specialist expertise,” said Adam Faulkner, Director at Sabio. “We look forward to helping them extract the maximum value from their WFM solution as they continue to optimise their contact centre resourcing through the application of their intelligent WFM strategy.”

…And wins Growth Partner award

Sabio has won WestconGroup’s 2015 UK & Ireland Growth partner award following growth in sales of Avaya Unified Communications and Collaboration Solutions through WestconGroup distribution.

Bosch Service Solutions introduce Genesys Customer Experience Platform

Bosch Service Solutions has introduced the Genesys Customer Experience Platform to create a unified contact centre experience for its customers.

The current contact centre solution at Bosch Service Solutions will be replaced by a single, global unified platform from Genesys.

With this new platform, the company can introduce new customer experience offerings, which can scale to meet the needs and requirements of the company’s global customers.

As a result, the company has the flexibility to adapt to local markets with a single platform – without managing three distinct systems.

“We were looking for a centralised contact centre solution that prepares us for the future,” said Joerg Fischer, Technical Vice President at Bosch Service Solutions. “As a global company with strong growth, we were looking for a provider with the right geographical coverage that is able to scale its solution as required and personalise additional functions according to our needs.”


Forum Events launch new website

Forum Events have launched a new brand and new website.

The new clear customer journey and brand presence through the modernised website has been designed to showcase their niche and the ever growing direction and development of the company.

They have also launched a new microsite for their Call Centre and Customer Service events.

The new design has been carefully planned to create a smoother journey to enable partners to better understand Forum’s unique Summit and Conference concept.

Katie Houghton: Head of Marketing comments: “This is the first of many new brand microsite’s we will be launching this year and we are very excited to be able to showcase our niche events in this way. The new microsite will allow for easy accessible information and a smoother process to book and attend our events.”

Response has become Kura following a successful management buy-out in 2014.

“The company has had a great year and that is entirely down to the people in our business. In the Kura world their personal growth will be our primary focus. We believe this will set us apart from our competitors,” said Brian Bannatyne, CEO.

Kura is also keen to make acquisitions that will help it to grow and broaden its reach across the UK and potentially further afield.
