Movers and shakers – June 2009
Here we continue with our regular new series looking at key people on the move or making news in the call centre world.
This week sees a new training manager being appointed at a Scottish contact centre and we celebrate the marriage of one of our readers and contributors, Pinaz Hansotia.
New training manager for Journeycall

Bob Wyllie
Mearns-based contact centre operator, Journeycall, has appointed Bob Wyllie as training manager, based at its Laurencekirk headquarters.
Mr Wyllie commented: “I’m looking forward to the challenge of leading the Journeycall training drive, both for new staff and when existing staff are trained on future client and new product procedures.”
Journeycall Deputy Managing Director, Trisha Pirie, welcomed the appointment: “Training, learning and development are an integral part of Journeycall’s operations. We have appointed Bob to head up our ever-busy training department responsible for over 100 staff. Journeycall’s client base is growing, bucking the media gloom on Britain’s economic prospects. We must ensure that our training process keeps pace with client needs and on top of the latest training developments.”
Bob Wyllie lives in Forfar. With more than 20 years’ experience in training and quality control, he joins Journeycall from Dundee telebusiness giant, Sitel.
