Really Simple Systems Launches Web Transactions Module To Simplify Website Data Capture

Really Simple Systems, the UK based hosted- CRM service designed to be simple to use and to run, has today announced the general availability of its Web Transactions module.

The Web Transactions module allows web site forms to update the CRM system directly using a simple one page set up. For example, a New Inquiry form can automatically add a new lead into the CRM system, record the source and time of the lead and set up a task for somebody to call the inquirer. Multiple transactions can be set up, each one setting off a different combination of updates and workflow.

“Traditionally, interfacing your web site with your CRM system was a technical job, needing high level XML skills and days of programming.” said John Paterson, CEO Really Simple Systems. “Now customers can just paste a few lines of code into their web site, define how the transactions should be treated using a simple form and be capturing data live from their website in 30 minutes.”

According to Nikki Knight, Industry Marketing Manager of Alaric Systems and an early user of Web Transactions, “Integrating our new web site with our CRM system increased the ROI of the upgrade. Both newsletter subscriptions and contact inquiry forms are fed seamlessly into the CRM system. Before using Web Transactions our old website sent us an email which had to be manually entered into the CRM system. Now this is a streamlined, automated process which significantly reduces inquiry response times. It has added a new dimension to our sales process.”

The Web Transaction module is part of Really Simple Systems’ marketing suite, comprising campaign management and personalised emails.
