Scottish Call Centre Charity Cup set for May

For the second year running One Recruitment Associates are aiming to bring together the football elite from 60 different call and contact centres from all over Scotland.
Due to the previous year’s success of the Call Centre Challenge Cup and raising in excess of £7,000.00 for Calum’s Cabin charity, they are now looking to make it even bigger and better for 2010.
The date has now been set for the 15th of May 2010, to be held in the new location of Soccer World, Hamilton.
Charging £250 entrance fee per company, all monies raised will be split on an equal basis between Marie Cure Cancer Care, St Andrews Hospice, and HCPT Lanarkshire.
The company intend to have the same supporters’ stalls to make this a family-friendly day, which will include barbeque tent, face painting, bottle stalls, prize auctions and raffles. Also new for this year, a cheese tent with beer and wine and a “Human Juke Box” and they are encouraging teams to bring family and friends to support their team on the day! Again, all proceeds raised on the day will be split between the three charities.
If you are interested and work in a call/contact centre industry, please register your company’s team via the dedicated website as soon as possible, as spaces are on a first come, first served basis. Don’t panic, they won’t be looking for the funds for a few weeks yet – however, it will confirm your company’s slot.
