Postcode Anywhere secures European Call Centre Award

Postcode Anywhere has secured a European Call Centre and Customer Service Award (ECCCSA) in the ‘Support Team of the Year’ category.

The awards formally recognise and applaud professional excellence throughout the UK and Europe. It is committed to acknowledging and rewarding the best and most successful individuals and organisations in the contact centre and customer service industry.

“I think the secret of our success this year has been largely due to the fact we have made an investment in restructuring and bolstering our customer service team,” said Alex Schofield, Technical Support Manager at Postcode Anywhere. “One of the fundamental differences of how PCA is structured is that the customer service and technical support team sit together. This gives us agility to respond to customer queries immediately and it mitigates the need for calls to be fielded by more than one person.”


Nice Systems awards ‘Business Partner of the Year’ to Sinclair Voicenet

Sinclair Voicenet has been named Nice Security Business Partner of the Year, in recognition of their outstanding services contribution within the UK’s public safety market.

“As one of the UK’s leading providers of voice recording systems to the emergency services, we are delighted to have been named as Security Business Partner of the Year,” said Peter Gough, a Director of Sinclair Voicenet. “This award recognises our commitment to meeting the mission-critical needs in this market sector by developing the highest level of expertise in Nice’s portfolio of public safety products, including the latest crisis, incident and operational efficiency applications.”


Webhelp UK shortlisted for three industry awards

Webhelp UK has been shortlisted for awards at the CCA Excellence Awards, due to be announced in November.

Their Rothesay site has been shortlisted for Best Outsourcing Partnership and Best Customer Experience Centre of the Year, while a member of their Derby team – Ross Cumberlidge – has been shortlisted for Professional of the Year for his ability to find effective and innovative solutions.

Sensée shortlisted for Customer Service Team Award

Contact centre outsourcer Sensée has been named a finalist in the Best Outsourced Customer Service Team category at the 2014 National Outsourcing Association’s (NOA) Outsourcing Professional Awards.

“With recent changes in regulations regarding flexible working, homeworking is very much on the corporate agenda,” said Steve Mosser, CEO at Sensée HomeAgent Network. “We’re delighted that Sensée HomeAgents have again been recognised within our industry as delivering best-in-class services to clients.”

The winner will be announced at a Ceremony at Shakespeare’s Globe in London on the 4th September.


Premier Business Audio collect international award

Premier Business Audio have received a MARCE international marketing award at the annual event held in the United States.

The Hampshire-based company were presented with the award for their work on the JJ’s Indoor Play Area audio marketing service.

Elements such as creative script writing, brevity and overall understanding of music and messaging were taken into account by the esteemed guest judges who have over 40 years of experience in the audio marketing industry between them.

Elizabeth Gooch MBE – CEO of eg solutions plc and a pioneer of back-office workforce optimisation – has been named as a winner of the Finance Monthly CEO Awards 2014.

“An immense amount of work has gone into building eg solutions and establishing this new software category which is now starting to emerge,” said Elizabeth Gooch. “Winning a Finance Monthly CEO award and being named alongside other incredible CEOs across the world is truly an honour, but also a reflection of the great work and enthusiasm of a great team.”


LV= voted best insurer for customer satisfaction

LV= has been voted the best insurer for customer satisfaction, according to the 2014 UK Institute of Customer Service Customer Satisfaction Index.

In the UKCSI survey, involving around 10,000 consumers from across the UK, LV= received the highest customer satisfaction score for an insurer, with a score of 83.0 out of 100, compared with the average score of 77.6.

“Our approach to customer satisfaction is actually quite simple – we believe that if we provide consistently fair premiums and great service, the rest will take care of itself,” said John O’Roarke, Managing Director of LV= General Insurance. “Naturally, we’re delighted with the results of the UKCSI survey as they confirm the high level of trust we have earned with our customers and explain why we are now the UK’s most recommended insurer.”
