North East Contact Centre Awards 2014 – Winners announced

The winners of the 2014 North East Contact Centre Awards have been announced. Categories included Brightest New Star, Contact Centre Dream Team, Contact Centre Team of the Year and Best People Developer.

The Contact Centre of the Year (Under 250 seats) went to London & Country Mortgages, and the Contact Centre of the Year (Over 250 seats) Award went to Barclays.

“These awards are a great opportunity to highlight achievements, celebrate success and raise the profile of the sector – well done to all the winners,” said Cllr Paul Watson, Leader of Sunderland City Council.


Response MD wins ‘Chief Executive of the Year’

Response’s Managing Director, Brian Bannatyne, won the ‘Chief Executive of the Year’ award at the annual HR Network National Awards.

“It’s great to get external recognition for the business,” said Brian. “We have made a lot of progress over the last 5 years and that’s down to the hard work and creativity of our people.”


Magnetic North receive full Microsoft certification for Lync compatibility

Magnetic North have received full Microsoft certification for Lync compatibility.

The company’s SIP trunking solution can now be fully integrated with Microsoft’s Lync, allowing all calls and communications (including video and instant messaging) to be delivered to users via one SIP connection.

Magnetic North has also become a confirmed member of TSANet, a joint support organisation for Microsoft and partners with connected products.

“Lync is a powerful unified communications platform,” said David Ford, Managing Director, Magnetic North. “Putting that alongside our SIP trunk functionality and the cost savings it represents equates to cost savings in both the long and short term, in addition to extra efficiency via better communications and collaboration.”


NewVoiceMedia named as Internet of Things Awards finalist

NewVoiceMedia has reached the final in the Internet of Things Awards (IoTAs), which recognise innovation and excellence within the Internet of Things ecosystem.

…And ranked in top 100 cloud services providers

NewVoiceMedia has been ranked among the world’s Top 100 Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), according to Penton Media’s fourth annual Talkin’ Cloud 100 report.

The report recognises top cloud service providers based on such metrics as annual cloud services revenue growth (both in actual dollars and in percentage growth rates).
