NewVoiceMedia named most dynamic and cutting-edge company

NewVoiceMedia has been named one of the UK’s most dynamic and cutting-edge young companies by The British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA).

The ‘Britain’s Hot Talent 2014/15 handbook of UK venture capital innovation’ report recognises NewVoiceMedia for its cloud contact centre solution ContactWorld.

NewVoiceMedia has been recognised as one of the Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work for 2014 by The Sunday Times. The annual awards recognise businesses that excel in demonstrating their commitment towards their employees and focus on building positive workplaces.

Noble Systems wins ‘Fastest Growing Medium Business’

Magnetic North selected for Avaya DevConnect programme

Magnetic North has been selected for membership as a technology partner in the Avaya DevConnect programme. The programme promotes the development, compliance-testing and co-marketing of innovative third-party solutions that are compatible with standards-based Avaya solutions.

Jabra wins at Red Dot Awards 2014

The Jabra BIZ 2300 headset has been awarded with the prestigious Red Dot Award 2014. The Red Dot award has existed since 1954 and is one of the most highly esteemed international awards within the world of design.

The headset has been specifically created with the large-scale customer support centres in mind and marks a change in the way Jabra headsets are developed and designed.

“With the BIZ 2300 we challenged ourselves to reinvent the corded headset,” said Holger Reisinger, Vice President of Marketing, Products and Alliances at Jabra. “This has resulted in a headset which, in terms of functionality and aesthetics, satisfies the requests and demands of the end-user and the industry alike. We are very excited that our efforts have been recognised by Red Dot.”


Novacroft named Northamptonshire’s Business of the Year

The smartcard solutions company, which provides customer support via its own contact centre, has won the award at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards.

The judges were impressed by its meticulous attention to detail across all aspects of the business, from robust plans and market analysis to market-aware sales and business development.

“We are particularly pleased to win an award recognising the value we place on our people and our innovations,” said Debra Charles, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Novacroft. “We believe they have made it possible for us to help public transport providers rise to the challenge they are facing to do more for less in today’s difficult economic times.”


Journeycall achieves Level 1 Service Provider status for PCI DSS

Journeycall has achieved Level 1 service provider status for The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) – validated by an independent Quality Security Assessor (QSA).

The achievement means that the company can now handle even more payment transactions on behalf of its growing number of clients.

“We have been PCI level 2 certified since February 2011, which has enabled us to handle up to 600,000 Visa and 1 million Mastercard transactions per annum,” said Lesley Stewart, Business Development Director at Journeycall. “By achieving level 1 compliance we are now certified to handle volumes in excess of those figures with an even greater level of security.”


NICE Systems recognised as WFM market leader

NICE Systems has once again been recognised as the contact centre workforce management (WFM) market leader by DMG Consulting LLC.

In the 2014 Contact Center Workforce Management Report, the company is noted as having the largest market share based on number of seats. This is the seventh consecutive year that NICE has been the market share leader based on DMG’s report.
