Witney call centre celebrates 10,000 calls

The Troy Apprenticeship team celebrated taking 10,000 inbound calls to its Witney-based call centre since launching in January 2010 ; proving that teenagers do want to work and are actively seeking opportunities.
The Apprenticeship team provides exciting opportunities for young people to gain a qualification whilst being in the workplace, taking hundreds of enquiries daily from young unemployed people across the UK.
The team approach companies nationwide and encourage them to employ an apprentice by highlighting the obvious benefits, for example, demonstrating a commitment to developing the team, filling the skills gap and bringing staff to industry standard. 80% of those employers who take on an apprentice agree they make the workplace more productive.
“Our aim is to provide a career path for young adults who may otherwise struggle to get a foot in the door,” said Sam Black, Operations Manager, “and in taking 10,000 calls we have shown that there are plenty of talented motivated young individuals out there who are desperate for the opportunity to progress into the workplace.”
