Contact centre raises funds for Merseyside Greyhounds

QVC, the Knowsley-based television shopping channel, has raised a substantial total of £14,037.70 for the Merseyside Retired Greyhound Trust.

The total was made up of proceeds from many employee fund-raising activities at QVC’s Customer Operations Centre in Knowsley, as well as sales across its two retail stores in Warrington and Shrewsbury, and a further corporate donation from QVC UK.

The Merseyside Retired Greyhound Trust was chosen by QVC staff to be one of their four charities for this year as they were wholly inspired by the fantastic efforts of the team of volunteers, dedicated to the rescue, welfare and rehoming of the greyhounds. The branch is operated by a committed group from the North West area and QVC is always keen to support the efforts of local charities.
